This page explains what personal data arises when you visit this website or send us an enquiry, what we use it for and what rights you have. Personal data is any information that relates to you, such as your name, your email address or your IP address.

Hosting and server logs
This website is provided by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you open a page, Vercel processes the data this technically requires: your IP address, date and time, the address requested, the page you came from, and your browser and operating system. No page can be delivered without this data. Vercel also uses it to keep the service secure and to detect misuse.
Vercel acts on our behalf and on our instructions (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA in the process. For this, Vercel relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log data is kept only as long as operation and security require, and is then deleted automatically. We do not combine it with other data.

Visitor statistics
We want to know which pages are read and how fast they load. For this we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Neither uses cookies.
They record the page viewed, the page you came from, browser, operating system, device type and approximate country. Speed Insights also measures how fast the page loads. Vercel recognises a visit only by a check value derived from the request. This value is discarded after 24 hours. We only see aggregated figures, never individual people.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact by form, email or phone
When you submit the contact form, we process your details through Resend (Resend, Inc.) as our processor. We use the EU region eu-west-1 in Ireland for sending. Your enquiry is delivered to our mailbox and stored there.
The email contains what you entered: name, company, email address, topic and, if you wish, phone number, your answer to the question about the topic and a message. It also contains the page address and language and, if the link carried one, a note of where it came from, such as an event. If you write to us directly or call us, we process the details you share with us.
The sending region does not determine where all data is stored by Resend. Resend states that account data, including email metadata, logs and API records, is stored in the United States.
To limit repeated enquiries, we briefly keep a count of requests per IP address in server memory.
We use these details only to answer your enquiry and to prepare a possible offer. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, because your enquiry precedes a possible contract. For general questions, it is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your email is delivered through our email provider and stored there.
We delete your enquiry once it is settled and no order follows. If an order follows, we keep the correspondence as long as the law requires. For business records, this is usually seven years (§ 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code, BAO).
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We only pass it to the service providers named above, who work on our behalf, or when the law requires us to.
Voluntary information
Providing information is voluntary. Without your email address or phone number, we cannot reply. We make no automated decisions and create no profiles.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- have it corrected (Art. 16 GDPR)
- have it erased (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restrict its processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- receive it in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
